  1. UTIL Command P - Personal Information Change
  2.  
  3. This command allows you to change either
  4.     your city/state that your originally set on logon, or
  5.     the password you use to log onto RBBS-PC.
  6. Once changed, RBBS-PC will expect your new password when you next log on.
  7. Passwords can have up to 15 characters.
  8.     Pressing Enter to a prompt leaves the information unchanged.

  10. TIPS:
  11. 1.  Anyone who knows your password can log on as you and read your personal
  12.     mail, or to use other system privileges that you may have.
  13.  
  14. 2.  You should change your password if you have reason to believe that it
  15.     is known to other persons.
  16.  
  17. 3.  Some RBBS-PC systems have "temporary" passwords.  Changing your
  18.     password to one defined as a temporary password will change your
  19.     current session security, but will NOT change your permanent password.
  20.     RBBS-PC will notify you if you make a temporary password change.  Check
  21.     with your Sysop for more information about temporary passwords.
